AI Fictions

AI Fiction is the first conference ever organized on the theme of Artificial Intelligence in fiction (literature, series, films, comics, video games).

The focus will be on representations of AI and their meanings, as well as the creative uses of AI to produce and understand fiction.

The conference took place online on June 3-5, 2021. The conference had sessions and presentations both in French and in English. You can find all of the recorded talks on the Presentations page.

It happened both synchronously and asynchronously, in order to foster discussions and interactions during our time together online, rather than strict, unidirectional presentations.

Asychronously

You can find the communications from our participants as recorded videos on the Presentations page. Attendantas were recommended to watch videos on their own time, in anticipation of the live discussions.

We have also set up a digital exhibition to present some of the artworks of our invited creators. You can find them all on the Online Exhibition page.

Synchronously

During the time of the conference, we met on Zoom to discuss the contributions in several panel sessions. You can find the schedule on the Sessions page, along with the list of participants for each session, and the recording.
