What is the format of the conference?

Being online, the conference follows a flipped format: contributions from all participants will be available starting May 25th on the Sessions page. You can then watch them ahead of our conference program.

The conference time itself will be spent in moderated round-table discussions with the participants.

How can I attend the conference?

You can find the schedule here, and you will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the conference start. If you are not a conference participant, please send an email to ia.fiction.2021@gmail.com and we will send you the link.

While you can join every session via a browser, we also recommend downloading the software,

Anything else I should look out for?

You can also take a look at the Online Exhibition page we've set up, with works by artists contributing to the conference and others.

If you want to participate more actively, you can check out our Catalogue page, where we're building a collaborative list of works of fiction written about/with/by artificial intelligence.

Will the talks be recorded?

The contributions themselves are already recorded, and will be made available prior to the conference start on the Sessions page. The live discusssions will not be recorded.

How are coffee breaks happening?

Coffee breaks will take place on Wonder, during which participants can spend some time to chat. All links will be available on the Sessions page.
